Glasgow pool repairs, scoped from your photos first.
If your Glasgow pool has loose tiles, failing grout or a tired finish, we can repair, regrout or refurbish it. Because we travel up from Warrington, we ask for a good set of photos first. They tell us what to bring and make the first visit count.
Glasgow pools
Glasgow has a long history of public swimming, and some of its pools have been in use for generations. Alongside them are school, college and university pools, hotel and spa pools in the centre, health clubs, and private pools in homes across the surrounding towns.
Older pools often carry layer on layer of repairs from different eras. Newer hotel and club pools tend to wear first at the steps, the waterline and the entries.
How to photograph your pool for us
Photos cannot replace an inspection, but a good set lets Dan and Jay judge the likely scale of the job before setting off. A short video walking round the pool edge often shows more than a dozen stills.
- Wide shots from each end of the pool
- Close-ups of loose, cracked or missing tiles, with something in shot for scale
- Grout lines that look open or dark, taken in good light
- Any spare tiles, labels or original paperwork
Making the trip count
Where an inspection comes first, we try to get more out of it, for example by trying a small test clean or a test area if you are happy for us to. For the works themselves, the team stays nearby.
We also agree with your plant room staff who drains the pool, when the water treatment restarts, and how the refill will be run. The cure time before refilling goes into the programme from day one.
What to keep an eye on
Grout that is missing rather than just stained, tiles that move or sound hollow, and sharp edges on steps or the pool edge. Sharp or lifting tiles are a safety matter, so report them straight away.
Note when each problem first appeared. Faults that spread, or keep returning to one area, usually have a cause behind the tile.
Is Glasgow too far for a Warrington-based team?
No. We work across the whole of the UK, Scotland included, and plan travel and accommodation around the job.
Can you give a price from photos?
No. Photos show us the likely scope, but we do not quote blind. We usually need to see the pool, ideally drained, before agreeing a scope and estimate.
Do you work on university and college pools?
Yes, and on school pools. We can plan around term dates where the closure window is tight.
Tell us about your pool.
Send a few details and we’ll get back to understand the job. Photos of the tiles, grout and problem areas are useful when you have them.
