Pool tiling in Warrington, where we are based.

PoolRevive is based in Warrington. If you have a pool in the town that needs tile repairs, regrouting or a retile, we are close enough to come and look at it while the problem is still small, before one loose tile turns into a whole bay of them. We work on pools all over the UK, but this is home ground.

Close to home

Why being close by helps

Pool problems are simpler and cheaper to put right when they are caught early. A look at some washed-out grout, a hollow patch on a step or a single cracked tile is easy to fit in when the pool is down the road.

It helps on bigger jobs too. Inspection, a test clean, the main works and a final check can be spread out to suit the pool, rather than squeezed together to save on travel.

PoolRevive is the pool side of TileTrust Ltd, a Warrington tiling firm with more than 25 years in the trade. Dan and Jay do the tiling themselves, and from here they travel to pools right across the country.

Pools in and around the town

Different pools, different wear

Warrington covers a lot of ground, from Lymm and Stockton Heath south of the Mersey to Great Sankey in the west and Birchwood and Culcheth to the north-east. We take on public leisure and school pools, health club and hotel pools, and private indoor pools in homes across all of it.

Each type wears in its own way. A busy lane pool sees heavy bather loads and cleaning every day. A private pool may be lightly used but kept warm for months on end. We ask how the pool is actually run before suggesting anything.

If an operator spots something new, such as a lifted tile on a step or a patch of grout that has gone since the last clean, it is worth getting it looked at while it is still one small area.

How a job runs

We look first, then agree the scope

There is no fixed package. A first visit usually means a visual check, tapping across suspect areas and a close look at grout, movement joints, edges and steps. Tapping shows us where to look harder. It does not prove what is behind a tile, so we tell you where something may need opening up.

Then we go through the options: a deep clean, targeted repairs, a regrout or a fuller refurbishment. How far a repair goes depends on what we find once tiles come up, and the adhesive and grout get the cure time the manufacturer asks for before the pool is refilled.

Beyond the pool tank

Surrounds, changing rooms and spa areas

Walkways, channels, showers and changing rooms share the pool's water, cleaning regime and foot traffic, so they tend to wear out on a similar timetable.

We can look at them on the same visit. Doing everything in one closure can save shutting twice, though some surround and changing room work can be phased separately where the layout lets it be done safely.

Pool work in Warrington: common questions

All questions
Can you come and look at a single loose tile in a Warrington pool?

Yes. One loose or hollow tile is often worth checking around, because the bond may have gone over a wider area than you can see. We tap around it and tell you whether a small repair is likely to hold.

Do you only work on commercial pools in Warrington?

No. We take on private pools as well as hotel, club, school and leisure pools, along with their surrounds, changing rooms and spa areas.

Is regrouting always the answer when grout is missing?

Not always. If the grout has gone because tiles are loose, the bed has failed or the background is moving, new grout will not solve it. We find the cause first, then recommend regrouting, repairs or both.

Start with an estimate

Tell us about your pool.

Send a few details and we’ll get back to you to understand the job. Photos of the tiles, grout and problem areas help us a lot, and you can add them below.

We aim to reply within two working days.

What affects the estimate?

  • The pool area and which surfaces need work
  • Joint size and the grout or tiles involved
  • The condition of the tiles, joints and background
  • Access to the pool and the working areas
  • Preparation, cleaning and any repairs needed first
  • The programme and when the pool can close
