Preston · Lancashire

Swimming pool tiling for Preston and wider Lancashire.

We carry out pool tile repairs, regrouting and full retiles in Preston and across Lancashire. Preston is a straightforward run up the M6 from Warrington, and we plan visits so that one trip gets as much done as possible.

A broad area

City pools, rural homes and the coast

In Preston itself there are public leisure pools, school pools, and pools in hotels, gyms and health clubs. Further out there are private pools in rural homes, and holiday park and hotel pools along the Lancashire coast.

The constraints differ. A holiday park can usually only close out of season. A family pool might be in use every day.

Before we visit

A little preparation makes the visit worth more

Good photos and a short description mean we turn up with the right kit. If the pool is full when we come, we look at what we can and explain what a drained inspection would add.

  • Wide photos and close-ups of problem areas
  • Any history of earlier repairs or regrouting
  • Spare tiles held on site
  • Planned closure dates and access for a van

Repair, regrout or retile

Not every tired pool needs retiling. Many come back well with targeted tile repairs, local render repairs and a careful regrout. Others have debonding across large areas, or tiles that can no longer be matched, and then a retile is the sensible route. We explain the reasoning before anything is agreed.

Lane and step markings

Keeping the markings clear

Lane lines, step nosings and edge markings help swimmers judge depth and direction, and in a busy pool they are often the first tiles to wear. Chipped or missing marking tiles make steps and edges harder to see.

When we repair them we look at contrast and alignment against the existing finish. If the colour cannot be matched, replacing a whole line often looks better than patching it.

Pool work in Preston: common questions

All questions
Do you cover the rest of Lancashire as well as Preston?

Yes, all of it. Send photos and a description through the estimate form and we will plan a visit.

Can you work at a holiday park pool on the coast?

Yes. Holiday park work is usually planned for the quieter season, and getting in touch early helps us fit the programme to your closure.

Can you replace one worn lane line without retiling the floor?

Often, depending on what is underneath. If the marking colour cannot be matched we may suggest replacing the whole line so it reads evenly.
