Swimming pool tiling across Wales, from the valleys to the coast.

We repair, regroute, clean and refurbish tiled swimming pools all over Wales. From our base in Warrington, the north is close at hand and the south is a straightforward run down the border. Wherever your pool is, Dan and Jay inspect it first and plan the job around how far they have to come.

Across the country

Pools we work on in Wales

Wales has every kind of pool we take on: council leisure pools in the towns and valleys, school and teaching pools, university pools in the cities and coastal towns, hotel and spa pools, health clubs, holiday park pools along the coast, and private pools in homes and farmhouses.

We have pages for Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Aberystwyth and North Wales, and we cover the rest of the country too, including Bridgend, Llanelli, Carmarthen, Pembrokeshire and the towns of mid-Wales.

Distance

Planning around the miles

Travel across Wales is often slower than the map suggests, especially through the middle of the country. So for anywhere beyond easy reach we ask for photos first, make the inspection count, and stay locally once the works begin.

Photos never replace a look at the pool itself, and we do not quote from them. What they do is tell us which materials and tools to bring, so a long trip is not wasted.

Seasons

Coastal and holiday pools

Much of the Welsh coast is holiday country, from Pembrokeshire and Cardigan Bay to the north. Pools on holiday parks and in holiday lets work hard in the summer, so the closed season is usually the time to put the tiles right.

If your season has a fixed opening date, tell us early. Adhesive and grout need their full cure time before refill, and we plan backwards from the date you give us.

How a job runs

Inspect, agree, then tile

A first visit means a close look at the grout, movement joints, steps and edges, and tapping across suspect areas to find hollow tiles. We then talk through the options, from a clean or a targeted repair to a regrout or full retile, and agree the scope before any work starts.

If tiles keep failing in the same place, we look for the reason behind it rather than simply replacing them again. Movement in the structure, missing movement joints and a poor original bed are common causes, and new tiles alone will not fix them. We also look at walkways, showers and changing rooms, which often wear out alongside the pool.

Good to know

Pool work in Wales: common questions

All questions
Do you cover the whole of Wales?

Yes. We work right across Wales from our Warrington base, north, south, east and west, and plan travel and accommodation around each job.

Can you work on Welsh school pools in the holidays?

Yes. Most school pool work is planned for the summer holiday. Let us know your dates early so the scope is settled before the break.

Is it worth calling you for a small repair in west Wales?

Yes, though we will be honest about whether it makes sense to deal with anything else in the same trip. Photos first help us judge that.

Start with an estimate

Tell us about your pool.

Send a few details and we’ll get back to you to understand the job. Photos of the tiles, grout and problem areas help us a lot, and you can add them below.

Dan or Jay will be in touch within 24 hours.

What affects the estimate?

  • The pool area and which surfaces need work
  • Joint size and the grout or tiles involved
  • The condition of the tiles, joints and background
  • Access to the pool and the working areas
  • Preparation, cleaning and any repairs needed first
  • The programme and when the pool can close
