Pool tiling across Northern Ireland, one ferry crossing from our base.
We repair, regrout, clean and retile swimming pools right across Northern Ireland. The crossing from our side of the water is straightforward, so we plan each trip around the pool's closure and stay locally for as long as the work needs.
Pools from the Causeway coast to Fermanagh
Northern Ireland has every kind of pool we work on: public leisure centres and school pools in the towns, hotel and spa pools along the coast and around the lakes, university pools in Belfast and Coleraine, and private pools in homes across the countryside.
We have pages for Belfast, Derry and Newry, and we cover everywhere in between, from the north coast to Armagh, Tyrone and Fermanagh.
Coastal towns such as Portrush and Newcastle in County Down bring visitors to hotels and holiday parks, and their pools work hardest through the summer.

- Partial and full retiles

Ferries and where we stay
There are sailings to Belfast from Birkenhead, close to our Warrington base, and from Cairnryan in Scotland to Belfast and Larne. We bring our own tools and materials, and book the crossing and accommodation once the closure dates are agreed.
Before we travel we ask for photos of the problem areas, any spare tiles, and your closure dates. That way the first visit can do as much as possible.
For pools in the west, such as around Enniskillen or Omagh, the drive from the port is a real part of the trip, so we plan each visit to cover as much as possible.
Older pools with layered repairs
Many council pools have been open for decades and carry patches of different tiles and grout from repairs over the years. Some of those repairs are sound. Others hide a bigger problem, such as a failing bed or a missing movement joint.
We tap test, look at grout and joints, and tell you which areas can be repaired and which are better replaced, so the budget goes where it is needed.
Leisure pools also carry heavy bather loads and daily cleaning, so grout and waterline tiles tend to need attention more often than in a private pool.
Inspect first, then agree the scope
We do not quote blind from photos. Most repairs need the pool drained, and we agree drain down, plant shutdown and refill with your staff before starting. Adhesive and grout get their full cure time before water goes back in.
If several areas need work, we suggest an order that keeps the pool safe and the closure as short as is sensible, and we look for the cause of repeat failures rather than simply replacing tiles. Tell us about any planned changes to plant or water treatment too, as they can affect the programme.

Do you cover the whole of Northern Ireland?
Yes. We cover all six counties, along with the rest of the UK.
Do you do school pools during the summer holidays?
Yes. Summer is the usual window for school pools. Tell us your dates early so the crossing and materials can be booked.
Can one trip cover more than one pool?
Sometimes. If you run several pools, or there are other jobs nearby, we can try to line inspections up on the same trip.
Tell us about your pool.
Send a few details and we’ll get back to you to understand the job. Photos of the tiles, grout and problem areas help us a lot, and you can add them below.
