Full rip-out, retile and epoxy grout

What we did

  • Full rip-out of the old pool finish, back to the basin
  • New pool-wall tiling, starting at the recessed access steps
  • Step treads and risers rebuilt in new tiles, with contrasting anti-slip nosings
  • New floor tiling and lane markings across the basin, finished in epoxy grout
  • New grey surround tiles alongside the pool edge
  • Drainage-channel rails fixed in ARDEX A 38 screed, then the black grating fitted

The result

Every pool wall and floor tile is new. After refilling, a purple tracer dye test made the water circulation visible, and the pool was then shown in clear water with the new floor and lane markings complete.
